With a score of 81.8%, Michelin ranks first among the 30 natural rubber companies evaluated, including producers, processors, leading tire, and glove manufacturers.

The assessment, published in March 2022, was conducted by SPOTT - Sustainability Policy Transparency Toolkit - a platform for assessing environmental, social and governance transparency. It takes into account environmental, social and governance (ESG) policies, commitments and practices, disclosed by companies and easily accessible to all stakeholders.

This rating demonstrates the Group's leadership and transparency in advancing the sustainability of the natural rubber value chain and beyond that, mobility. It also recognizes the Group's long-standing commitment to all its stakeholders, investors, clients, … including small natural rubber producers, to improve their livelihoods and environmental practices.
